What is the State of Your Affairs?

Each one of your aspirations, plans, expectations and actions are in a current state at this exact moment.

Using scientific terms, Google defines the state of a matter as one of the distinct forms in which matter can exist. Four states of matter are observable in everyday life: solid, liquid, gas, and plasma. This conversation focuses on the solid, liquid and gaseous states of matter.

Solid matter is composed of tightly packed particles. Solid matter will retain its shape because the particles are not free to move around. 

Liquid matter is made of more loosely packed particles. Liquids tend to take the shape of the container they are in. They flow smoothly and can move continuously.

Gaseous matter is composed of particles packed so loosely that it has neither a defined shape nor a defined volume.

Plasma is a state of matter that is often thought of as a subset of gases, but the two states behave very differently.

Relating the state of a matter, in informal language, to your aspirations, plans, expectations and actions will mean some of your aspirations, plans, expectations and actions are in:

Solid State when all is pretty well, that is, processes, activities and required adjustments are in shape, but the working components of your plans are not free to move out of the borders that will ensure it yields the visualized outcomes.

To have attained a solid state in your affairs will more often mean you have clarity on what you need to do, how you must approach the process and the resources that have been made available to you.

Most importantly, you are taking the right actions daily, making required adjustments and having your heart committed to what the outcome must be. In Christian-speak, God’s promises are established in your heart, you are fully persuaded and you daily receive the intelligence of the Holy Spirit by perception/intuition, right information and make accurate decisions.

Your affairs in a Liquid state represents a flow along the rhythm and within the boundaries of components that can help you achieve your desired outcomes. It is important to keep an eye on affairs in a liquid state. They must be guided since liquids mostly conform to the shape of its container.

Don’t give free-will to this state of affairs! Do not let external conditions and obstacles determine the outcomes. Obstacles are very much different from required adjustments. They have to be retained under the guidance of Heaven’s Intelligence and that will only come through fellowship with the Holy Spirit.

You remain in meditation daily to keep the promises in sight and receive the thoughts of God on what you must do to see your desired result.

There’s much demand on you when your affairs are in a Gaseous state; no fixed shape, no rhythmic flow, and no projectable volume.

Concentration is low with a great deal of empty space between aspirations, plans, expectations and actions. A pretty interesting thing about affairs in this state is that it exerts more force on the interior volume of the container (the container being you).

It places a demand on the knowledge base of what you are aspiring for, your ability to make wise/smart plans, your willingness to make adjustments that will yield results, and commitment to taking the right actions daily.

The demands exerted on you should keep you before God, asking for His strength to complete a component that moves you forward to the next, His help for resources and wisdom to recognize the right information.

It may seem all muddled up but rest assured knowing that God is in the midst with you and He will help you. Take one day at a time, just ensure you do something that amounts to progress each day.

It is pertinent to also be aware that different aspects of your plans and aspirations will be in different state of affairs at different times in the course of the year. The right disposition is to keep a clear eye on progress and celebrate every little success along the way with expressions of gratitude to the Holy and Only One who grants us success in all endeavors.

Whatever state your aspiration, plans, expectations and actions are at this very moment, be it in stillness or rapid motion, be strategic and mindful because it is leading to your desired outcomes.
